COVINGTON, Kenneth (Smiley), age 66 of Knoxville, passed away Monday, July 27, 2015. He was retired from Penske. Kenneth enjoyed coaching baseball at Inskip Ball Park for many years. Kenneth loved his family and friends. He is preceded in death by his wife, Carol Covington. Survivors include children: Cathy (Red) Carter, David (Crystal) Dailey, Daniel (Donna) Covington, Dana Pressley, and Timmy (Brandi) Covington; brother, Jerry Covington; sister, Betty Donley; several grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews. The family will receive friends at McCarty-Evergreen Funeral Home on July 30, 2015 from 5:00-7:00 p.m. with the funeral service to follow at 7:00 p.m. in the chapel. Family and friends will meet at 10:15 a.m. on July 31, 2015 at McCarty-Evergreen Funeral Home to go in procession to Asbury Cemetery for an 11:00 a.m. interment.
