Kenneth Steven Hickman Sr.

Kenneth was a devoted husband, father, brother, papaw, and friend who loved his family and the Lord with all his heart. He was a faithful member of Northside Baptist Church and lived his life guided by his Christian faith. Kenneth retired from Woodlawn Cemetery after 40 years of dedicated service, where he was respected and appreciated by coworkers and the many families he served throughout the years.

One of Kenneth's greatest joys in life was being a Papaw. He treasured every moment spent with his grandchild and loved creating lasting memories with his family. His kindness, strong work ethic, and unwavering devotion to those he loved will be remembered by all who knew him.

He is survived by his loving wife, Pat Hickman; his children, Matthew Hickman and daughter Phoebe Hickman, and Steven Hickman, Jr.; brother, David Hickman; and sisters, Mildred Hickman Juanita Leese. He also leaves behind many extended family members and friends who will miss him dearly.

The family will receive friends on Sunday, June 14, 2026, from 5:00 PM until 7:00 PM in the chapel of Berry Funeral Home, 3704 Chapman Highway, Knoxville, Tennessee. A funeral service will follow at 7:00 PM, officiated by Pastor Byron Chesney.

Family and friends will meet on Monday, June 15, 2026, at Woodlawn Cemetery, 4500 Woodlawn Pike, Knoxville, Tennessee 37920, for 1:00 PM Interment Service.
