Kenneth Franklin "Butch" Human, age 62, of Pigeon Forge, Tennessee, formerly of South Knoxville, passed away on Tuesday, July 30, 2024. He was born March 23, 1962, to Frank and Velma Human. Butch was a 1981 graduate of Columbia Central High School (Columbia, TN), and went on to attend Columbia State. Following his passion for the hospitality industry, he pursued starting his own business, Funnel Cake Factory (Pigeon Forge, TN). Over the years, he prided himself in running a successful business, earning numerous awards, recognitions, and great reviews. Each customer was treated as a member of his own family.
Butch was a VOL for life, attending countless games from the time he was a child, until recent years. He was a self-taught guitarist, drummer and singer. He enjoyed cooking for his family and friends, especially during the holidays. Butch will be remembered for his selfless nature and love for God.
He is preceded in death by his parents, Frank and Velma (Cameron) Human; brothers: Greg Human and Joseph "Sonny" Human; and sisters: Jean Kincannon and Kay Parker.
Butch is survived by his sons, Patrick Human and Connor Human; daughter, Nicole Human; sisters: Susie McGee (Bill) of Pilot Mountain, NC, and Judi Smith of Sussex, WI; brother, Ronnie Housewright (Vontella) of Jefferson City, TN; special girlfriend, Kristin Brown; as well as numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, and special friends.
Family will receive friends Saturday, August 3, 2024 from 12:00 - 2:00 PM, at Berry Funeral Home, 3704 Chapman Highway, Knoxville, TN 37920, with a graveside service to follow at Woodlawn Cemetery.
