I am sorry for your loss.  I work for NAVAIR and had many talks with Kurt, when he was in the USA and forward, supporting our Aerostat mission.  I just found out about this, so I wanted to post my message.

So sorry at this sad news.  I haven't seen Kirk for years, but I remember him well as a happy, smiling boy who was interested in everything and everyone.  Blessings and peace to all of you, and remember his loving spirit is still with you.

I'm so sorry to hear of Kirk's passing. As a childhood friend he was a wonderful person and I can imagine that he was even more wonderful as a husband and father. Best wishes to Kirk's family and my most sincere condolences.

I am very sorry for your loss and my family's thoughts and prayers are with all of you in this time.  Kirk passing has happened way too soon and everyone is missing out.  Just looking at the pictures online and reading the posts confirms that he never lost his joy for life.  Too many memories of soccer and high school where the little kid, who was always a foot taller than me, was making everything better.

He was a great guy and will be missed.  All of the Arens Clan sends you their best at this difficult time.

So many of my high school memories involve hanging out with Kirk,  all happy and having fun.  I will forever cherish these memories.  My deepest sympathy to the entire DeRoche family.

I am deeply saddened to hear of the loss of dear Kirk. His wonderful smile will forever remain in my memories of him. Kim, Anne and Paul, my thoughts and prayers are with you all. Our family is very sad by Kirk's passing. He was such a joy to all of us. His smile and positive spirit will live on forever.
