Kristen Nicole (Marsh) Zimmerman

Kristen was a graduate of the University of Tennessee, where she earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in Business Communications. Throughout her career, she worked as a pharmaceutical representative before becoming the proud owner of Tri-Star Floor Decor. Kristen poured her heart into the company she built, becoming known for her dedication, hard work, and commitment to her customers. She was extremely proud of what she accomplished and always went above and beyond to help those around her.

Kristen was a woman with a truly generous heart. She loved helping people, making friends, planning parties, and bringing people together. She was outgoing, caring, and had a gift for making others feel welcome. Kristen never met a stranger, and her kindness and enthusiasm left an impression on everyone fortunate enough to know her.

Music was another special part of Kristen’s life. She loved to sing and play the guitar, especially when sharing those moments with her beloved daughter, Zoe. Some of her happiest memories were made through music, laughter, family, and time spent with the people she loved.

Kristen was a devoted mother and treasured her daughter, Zoe Zimmerman, above all else.

She will be deeply missed by Zoe; parents, Tom and Diana Marsh; brother, Brandon Marsh; sister-in-law, Tonya Marsh; nephew, Malachi Marsh; niece, Alyssa Marsh; aunt and uncle, Julie and Ben Harkins; aunts, Janice Marsh and Reva Miller and several cousins and extended family members who loved her dearly.

She was preceded in death by her grandparents, Janice and Bob Marsh and Talmadge and Rowena Miller; uncles, Kelly Marsh and Tim Miller, and cousin, Brian Marsh.

Kristen’s life was defined by the love she gave to others. Her generous spirit, infectious personality, love of music, and ability to bring people together will remain in the hearts of all who knew and loved her. She leaves behind a legacy of kindness, friendship, and a life lived with an open heart.

The family will receive friends on Saturday, August 22, 2026 at 12 noon, followed by a funeral service at 2pm at Berry Highland Memorial Funeral Home. Kristen will be laid to rest at 3pm at Berry Highland Memorial Cemetery.
