Mr. Larry "Bruce" Crabtree, age 96, of Knoxville, Tennessee passed away on Saturday, June 21, 2025. He was a faithful and beloved member of the First Apostolic Church of Knoxville and a proud U.S. Navy veteran who served in the Korean War.
He was preceded in death by his parents, R.D. and Flora Temple Crabtree; his brother, Don Crabtree; his sister, Maxine Washington; and his beloved wife, Luella “Terry” Crabtree.
Bruce is survived by his stepbrother, Wayne Chitwood (Doris); stepsister, Vicky Taylor; son, Mark Crabtree; stepson, Stephen Henegar (Kim); stepdaughters, Karen Peccia (Joe), Janet Foreman (Rick), and Carla McCarty (Edward); and Natalie Smith (Scott). He was also blessed with 12 grandchildren and 10 great-grandchildren.
Receiving of friends will be held on Thursday, June 26, 2025, at 6:00 PM at First Apostolic Church of Knoxville, followed by a Celebration of Life service at 7:00 PM, officiated by Bishop Billy McCool and Pastor Mark McCool. A graveside service will be held on Friday, June 27, 2025 at 10:30 AM at Oak Ridge Memorial Park.
