Larry Franklin Ladd age 77, passed away peacefully on February 15, 2024 surrounded by his loving family, after a long hard battle with cancer. Larry was a soldier until the end always brave and strong. Larry served with the Army 844th Engineers Infantry for 30 years having served in the Vietnam War and Desert Storm. After he retired from the Army he went to work for KUB until he retired. Larry was a Member of Beaver Ridge Masonic Lodge #366 and Shriners Kerbela Temple 32nd degree. Larry will be forever missed by his loving wife Peggy, after 34 of the best years of marriage; step-sons, Anthony Luster and wife, Jennie, Nathan Luster and wife, Jennifer; daughter, Tabitha Green and partner Vickie Green; grandchildren, Emily and Gabe Groover, Carma, Zerek, Christian, Catie, Eric and Jayla Luster; several step-grandchildren; siblings, George Ladd, Jodie Rule, Jean Hewitt, Greg Ladd and Debbie Miller. The family will receive friends 5-7 pm Wednesday at Weaver Funeral Home. The burial will be announced later.
