Lee A. Williams

WILLIAMS, LEE ALLEN age 85 of Mascot, Tennessee, passed away November 24, 2011 at his home. He was a U.S. Army Veteran. He served as a deacon of Green Acres Missionary Baptist Church for 24 years, a member of the Mascot Lodge for 51 years and a member of the Order of the Eastern Star for 50 years. Preceded in death by parents, Thomas and Della Williams; sister, Mary Haynes; brothers, Tom, Arthur, Chester and Oscar Williams. Survived by his loving wife of almost 60 years, Ruby Williams; sisters, Margie Cooper and Ida Powell of Knoxville and Florence Kyte of Tampa, FL; brother, Herman Williams of Blaine, TN. A special thanks to Amedisys Hospice and Home Heath. The family will receive friends 5-7 pm Saturday at Green Acres Missionary Baptist Church in Mascot. The funeral will be held at 2 pm Sunday at the church. Reverends Jerry Oliver and Leonard Goin will officiate and then proceed to Eastview Memorial Gardens for the interment.
