Lelia Mae Davis of Straw Plains, passed away Tuesday, April 18, 2017 at Beverly Park Place of Knoxville. She was of the Baptist faith. Preceded in death by husband, Cecil Davis, Sr.; son, Robert Davis, daughter, Sherry (Teddy) Hurst; parents, Luke and Elizabeth Everett; sisters, Juanita Boling and Iola Chandler; brother, David Everett. Survived by granddaughter, Tonya Hurst; great granddaughter, Taylor Heath; great grandson, Tyler Boling; sisters, Cloteal (Shannon) Burkhart; Virginia Roberts and Wanda Henry; brother-in-law, James Chandler, and special friend , and daughter-in-law, Carolyn Soward as well as several nieces and nephews. The family will receive friends from 1-2 pm, on Friday, April 21, 2017 at Berry Highland South Funeral Home on Simpson Road, the funeral will follow at 2 pm, in the funeral home chapel with Rev.
