It is with heavy hearts that Barret and Caitlin Parton announce the passing of their son, Lennox Dean Silas Parton, on May 26, 2026. Lennox was born on May 22, 2026, and spent his four days surrounded by the love of his family at Children's Hospital NICU.
Lennox was named after both of his great-grandfathers, a name he wore with pride. Known lovingly as Lenny the Lion, he was a fierce little fighter from the very start. In his short life, all he ever knew was love; he was covered in prayer from all over the country and never spent a moment without family close by. He loved his daddy, his mommy, and his big brother and sisters more than anything.
Lenny had a way of touching everyone around him. He brought people together, mended relationships, and had anyone who met him wrapped around his tiny little finger almost instantly. He was truly an angel on earth.
The family also wants to take a moment to thank the incredible nurses who cared for Lenny during his time in the NICU. Amber, Kyndel, Beth, and Kayla; you loved our boy like your own and fought hard for him every single day. Because of you, we had four beautiful days with him, and we will never forget that. You will always hold a special place in our hearts.
Lenny is survived by his parents, Barret and Caitlin Parton; siblings: Caydence, Asher, and Wrenley Parton; great-grandparents: Roy and Barbara Titlow, Michael and Dana Brewer, and Brenda Glasgow; grandparents: Billy and Misty Kinsler, Laura Carroll, and Shawn and Deborah Glasgow; aunts and uncles: Kelsey Glasgow, Wyatt and Makayla Parton, Justin Clark, Clinton and Jennifer Parton, Patrick and Stacy Parton, Eric and Penny Glasgow, and Roy and Rhonda Titlow; and many, many loving cousins and special friends.
He was preceded in death by an angel sibling; grandfathers, Bill Parton and Tom Carroll; great-grandfather, Glenn Silas Glasgow; and uncle Brandon Clark.
Family will receive friends from 10:00 AM - 12:00 PM Monday, June 1, 2026 at Berry Funeral Home, 3704 Chapman Hwy, with a funeral service to follow at 12:00 PM. Family and friends will proceed to Mt. Olive Cemetery following the funeral service for interment.
"Even the smallest feet have the power to leave everlasting footprints upon this world."
