I just learned of Louis' death. I remember him well - I saw him a lot when I was growing up. He was always laughing and having fun - and everybody loved him. He was close friends with my sister, Freda, and brothers, Gene and Buddy (Max). Nayda and I liked to be around him because he made us laugh and made us feel special. I haven't seen him in years, but I know he remained a very wonderful person who led a very productive life.

Dearest Jean, Doug, Sharon, and family...I light a candle for a family who are very dear to me. My brother, Daryl, lit a candle for him earlier. Louie told me many years ago that I was to consider him and Jean my Tennessee parents since I am from Illinois and he truly meant it. What a wonderful man he was to everyone he met. Louie is safe in God's arms now, may he rest in peace. Warmest condolences from my entire family.

When I looked at the obits today I instantly recognized his ever present smile. I knew Louie many years ago at Y12 back in the 70s. I loved hearing his stories and talking about his son Doug. He was a fine Christian man. Prayers to the family and be comforted in a long life well lived.
