Linda Lee (Thornburg) Dunn

Linda Thornburg Dunn, age 84, of Knoxville, Tennessee passed away on Thursday, September 12, 2024. Linda graduated from Holston High School and GA Baptist School of Nursing. She settled and raised her family in Smyrna, Georgia where she practiced nursing for many years and owned a successful daycare business. Linda spent her life taking care of others. She truly was a loving and supportive wife, mother, aunt, and friend.

Linda was preceded in death by her parents, Ernest Ray and Otie Mae Thornburg; spouse, Wesley Dunn; son, Dwayne Dunn; daughter, Kelly Dunn; siblings, Virginia Hudson, Harold Thornburg, Mary Ann Hudson McGraw and Christine Smith.

She is survived by her brother, John Thornburg and numerous nieces and nephews who love her very much.

Family will receive friends from 5:00 - 7:00 PM Monday, September 16, 2024 at Berry Funeral Home, 3704 Chapman Hwy, Knoxville, TN 37920, with a funeral service to follow at 7:00 PM, Rev. John Forsythe officiating. A private burial will be held in Marietta, Georgia.
