Linda was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, sister, and friend whose greatest joy in life was her family. She was the heart of her home and a steady source of love, strength, and encouragement to all who knew her.
She is survived by her husband of 60 years, Marvin “Joe” Dunn; her children, Marvina (Eddie)Warren, Lisa Covington, and Brandy (David) Herbert; brother, Jimmy Brewer, and her cherished grandchildren: Edward (Amanda) Warren III, Heather Covington, Kimberly (Adam) Shelton, Robin “Ashley” (Colton) Eggleton, Dylan (Kelsie) Sherrod, Joseph Sherrod, Hailie Herbert, and Christian Herbert.
Linda was also blessed with great-grandchildren whom she adored: Anthony, Elijah, Emery, Sebastian, and Penelope.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Otis and Juanita Brewer, and her siblings; Evelyn Dotson, Judy Brown, Bill Brewer, Carolyn Wood, Kathy Scruggs, Susie Brewer, and Debbie Perry.
Linda loved her family above all else and treasured time spent together. She especially enjoyed camping trips, days on the boat, and visiting the beach, these were moments that brought her peace and happiness and created lasting memories for those she loved.
Linda’s legacy of love, devotion, and family will live on in the hearts of all who were blessed to know her.
Family and friends will gather to honor the memory of Linda on Saturday, March 21, 2026, at McCarty’s Evergreen Funeral Home, 7426 Asheville Highway, Knoxville, TN 37924, with a visitation from 12:00pm to 2:00pm, with a funeral service to follow at 2:00pm. Family and friends will go in procession to Asbury Cemetery, Asbury Cemetery Road, Knoxville, TN, directly following the funeral service with Rev. Marty Henry to officiate the services.
