Lois Rose, age 87, of South Knoxville, went to be with the Lord whom she loved, Wednesday, February 10, 2021. She moved here from Springfield, Ohio in 1953. She was a member of Sevier Heights Baptist Church where she loved to attend. She loved to sing with the Joy Makers, loved to paint and spend time with family and friends.
Preceded in death by husband, Charles Rose; father, Fred McGee; mother, Lerlee McGee; brothers, Fred McGee, Randall McGee, Wilbur McGee all of Ohio; brothers-in-law, Bill Hickle, Bill Riehl, sisters-in-law Helen Riehl of Michigan, Grace and Maxine McGee.
Survived by sons, Steve Rose; Fred Rose and wife, Karen; daughters, Carla Smith and husband, Wayne; Gail Vittetoe and husband Phil; Cindy Smith and husband, Gary; 11 grandchildren; 15 great-grandchildren; sisters-in-law, Millie McGee of Ohio, Wanda Hickle; brother-in-law, Mayford Rose and wife, Audra; many nieces and nephews. A special thank you for the amazing care from UT Medical Center Stroke Team/Neuro Unit and UT Hospice. There will be no formal receiving of friends.
Friends may stop by for a Call at Convenience, Friday, February 12, 2021 between the hours of 1:00-5:00pm in the Chapel of Berry Funeral Home, 3704 Chapman Hwy, Knoxville, TN 37920. Family and friends will meet Saturday, February 13, 2021 for a 1:00pm graveside service at Stock Creek Cemetery, 8106 Martin Mill Pike, Knoxville, officiated by Pastor Brad Olin, Pastor Scott Adams and Pastor Phillip Smith.
