WEST, LOIS CATHERINE MAPLES – age 87 of Knoxville passed away February 1, 2012 at U.T. Medical Center. Member of Valley View Baptist Church. Preceded in death by husband, Hal West, son James West, parents L.C. Maples and Mary Jane, sisters Naomi Watts and Dorothy Ross, brother Eugene Maples. Survived by granddaughter Angela and husband Mike Barr, great -granddaughter Gabrielle Barr, nieces, Debbie, Patty and Brenda, many friends and family. Family will receive friends Thursday from 6-8 pm at Weavers with a chapel service to follow at 8 pm. Family and friends will meet 1:45 pm Friday at Highland Memorial for a 2 pm interment.
