Lon Howard Foster

Lon H. Foster, age 74 of Seymour, was called home to be with our Lord on June 27, 2014 after a short battle with lung cancer. He was born in Irwin, TN to the late Harvey Foster and Easter Chandler. Mr. Foster was a member and Deacon in good standing at Miracle Baptist Church. He worked as a Union Electrician out of the I.B.E.W. Union Local 760 for over 40 years. In addition to his parents, Mr. Foster was preceded in death by 4 brothers, 3 sisters, and 2 grandsons, Johnny French and Rusty Cardwell. He was survived by his wife, Gail Foster; son, Bill Foster (Dawn); daughters, Pam Byson (Robbie), Tammy Gibson (Ricky), Donna Boling (James), Kim Biggs (Joseph); 4 brothers, 2 sisters, 18 grandchildren, 22 great-grandchildren; lifelong friends, Bill Sharp and Terry Stinnett. You will be missed but not forgotten. Your memories will be cherished and loved by your family and friends.

The family will receive friends Tuesday, July 1, 2014 from 6:00 P.M. until 8:00 P.M. with funeral services following at 8:00 P.M. at Highland South Funeral Home with Rev. Terry Stinnett and Joseph Biggs officiating. Graveside services will be conducted Wednesday, July 2, 2014 at 11:00 A.M. at Highland South Memorial Park.
