Lonnie Virgil Corum, age 74, of Knoxville, TN passed away on December 22, 2020 at home surrounded by his family. He attended church at Arrowhead Church of God of Prophesy and was a long standing member of Circle Assembly of God. Lonnie was a proud veteran of the United States Army serving in Vietnam where he earned a Bronze Star and a Purple Heart. He was a former employee of the City of Knoxville and Claiborne Hauling.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Virgil and Cleo Corum and half brother, Virgil Corum, Jr.
Survived by his loving wife of 52 years, Evelyn; sons, John (Donna) and Kevin (Kellie) and his beloved grandchildren, Sydney, Madison, Morgan and Brodie.
A private service for family and friends will take place at the East Tennessee State Veterans Cemetery, Wednesday, December 30, 2020, 8:00am, officiated by Rev. Terry Barnwell. Full Military Honors will be provided by the East Tennessee Volunteer Honor Guard.
