Lora Lee Haun, 94, was born March 23, 1932, in Hendersonville, North Carolina, and died August 12, 2026. A resident of Knoxville, Tennessee, Lora Lee will be remembered with deep affection as a beloved presence in the lives of those who knew her—marked by compassion, steady devotion, and a faithful spirit that quietly strengthened her family and community.
Lora Lee was a devoted wife and mother, and her care for others was expressed in the everyday ways that matter most—through constancy, kindness, and a heart attentive to the needs of those around her. Her love of reading and travel reflected a thoughtful curiosity and an appreciation for the wider world, enjoyed with the same grace and sincerity that shaped her life.
Her faith was an enduring foundation. Lora Lee was a member of Sand Branch Global Methodist Church, where her faithful commitment and gentle compassion were evident to friends and fellow members alike.
Lora Lee is survived by her children: Linda Finley (Bill), Jackie Haun (Coleen), Connie Stephens (Mike), Debbie Laverdiere (Mark), Lora Ruth (Randy), and Gary Haun (Vicki). She was preceded in death by her son, Donald Haun. She is also survived by her grandchildren, Chris, Becky, Scott, Brian, Amanda, Clay, Justin, Luke, Laney, Patrick, Sara and Laura Marie, and by 19 great-grandchildren.
