Shaw, Louise Sharp Nelson, age 84, of Knoxville, passed away on Wednesday, May 23, 2012. She retired from the University of Tennessee after several years of service. She was preceded in death by parents, Louis H. and Maxie G. Sharp; husband Carl Leon Nelson; sister, Patsy Sharp; and brother, Jimmy Sharp. Louise is survived by her daughter, Judy Sehgal and husband, Paul; son, David Nelson and wife Beth; and daughter, Carolyn Nelson; grandsons, Matthew Nelson, Andrew Nelson and wife Rachael, and Reed Carringer and wife, Rachael; granddaughters, Sydney Nelson, Elle Nelson, and Alka Sehgal; and brother, Ernest Sharp and her nephews, Terry and Steve Sharp. Family and friends will meet at Woodlawn Cemetery on Sunday, June 3, 2012 at 2:00 PM for graveside services.
