Lovada Louise Cullom

Cullom, Lovada Louise age 101, transitioned this life on Thursday, September 21, 2023, at NHC Fort Sanders. Lovada was preceded in death by her husband, Mr. Charles Cullom, parents Mr. And Mrs. Henry (Lovada Goss) Cantrell, and several siblings. Family members left to esteem her memories are her nieces, Ruth McKinney and Susana Wells, nephews Robert Lee (Annetta), Alvin, David Sr., David, Jr. James, sister-in law Mrs. Ollie Cullom all of Knoxville. Very special appreciation is extended to the staff of NHC Fort Sanders for the years of their professional and loving care. Lovada was a graduate of Austin High School class of 1939. She was a culinary genius having worked for the Knox City/County School System as cook before traveling to Los Angeles, California with her husband Charles to work for the Norman Lear family as their personal chef until she retired. She truly enjoyed preparing meals for her family, friends and her church family. Lovada attended Mt. Zion Baptist Church where she was very active until her health declined. The family will receive friends on Saturday, September 30, 2023, at Berry Highland South at 11:30 a.m. with a Funeral Service at 12:00 p.m. and a Graveside Service to follow; the Reverend Dr. Johnnie Skinner, Jr will preside.
