My most vivid memories of Lovetta are of her laugh and her smile. I remember when I was a child she always greeted us with a big smile and a warm welcome. She will be missed and may loving memories sustain Cedric, Telinda and all who held her dear. What a lovely life to celebrate. Rest well Lovetta. Ranota

Dear Talinda and Cedric,
Please know that my prayers are with both of you and it is my hope that the memories that you have of your mother will comfort you over time.
In the time that I have known her, she was such an amazing woman whose smile and fashion would light up a room. She was also adept with her crafts which brought so much joy to her as well as others!
Most of all, it was very obvious that she absolutely loved her family...….you two, her grandchildren and great grandchildren!

Remember, "Earth has no sorrow that heaven can not heal"!
Love ya both!!!!

To the family--
This beautiful spirit welcomed us as her neighbors with open, loving arms. She watched our entire pregnancy and supported us every step of the way--as first-time parents away from ours, we needed her. She took our baby Jonathan (Jon Jon) in as one of her grandchildren and loved him with her whole heart. Her name, Lovey, suited her just fine because she was so full of love and shared it freely. The earth will be different without her, but heaven is surely rejoicing! We love you all and send our warmest condolences.

Lovetta was a beautiful, sophisticated, intelligent, creative woman of faith, strength and courage. Most of all she was a woman who loved GOD and imparted GODLY wisdom to her immediate family, extended family and others she encountered in her environment. Giving and sharing her talented gifts to others was of importance to her. You never left her home or presence without a parting gift (tangible and/or intangible gift of her wisdom). Telinda and Cedric, you were raised, nourished, encouraged and loved dearly by a phenomenal woman. That same loving spirit was shared with her extended family and the younger generations. Find comfort in knowing she is now present with the LORD and other beloved family members. Cherish her memories in your heart forever. Rest In Peace Lovetta. You will be missed tremendously.

Telinda, Cedric and Family,
Your mother was a beautiful person that always had a smile. You both have that smile and whenever our paths cross we just pick up talking like it was yesterday. That tells me we are forever friends. My thoughts and prayers are with you two and your Families. May her memories bring you joy that you were Blessed with a wonderful mother inside and out. God Bless! Melodie

The legacy Lovetta Thomas Moss (Mom) has left on our family is unmatched by any words that can be written. I will miss her and will continue to carry our memories together for the rest of my life. I still to this day make candy, table centerpieces and cook casseroles the way she taught me. I just laughed at the thought that I even plan trips with groups of people, just like she did (I was always her little trip assistant). I believe that those we love don’t go away; they walk beside us in our hearts and memories forever. Someone as special as she was and still is can and will never be forgotten. We’ll always remember how it felt to laugh with her and to especially be loved by her. I know those memories will bring much comfort in due time to all whose life she touched. The Thomas and Hartsell families will forever remain strong together and will share in the journey to finding peace after this difficult loss, and the very difficult loss of all our parents. Together, they taught us all to be strong, smart and loving. Best Parents Ever!! We love you Telinda and Cedric, hang in there!

Much LOVE,

Georgette Hartsell
