Mrs. Lucy Margaret Tipton-Brooks

Lucy Margaret Tipton-Brooks, age 76, of Knoxville, passed away on Sunday, July 26th, 2015. Margaret worked for Claxton Mayo at Mayo’s Garden Center for 35 years and was of the Baptist faith. She was preceded in death by her first husband William Tipton, her second husband Rev. Glen Brooks, and parents Lon and Pearl Humphrey. She is survived by two sons, Wayne Tipton and wife Virginia of Philadelphia, TN and Barry Tipton and wife Jan of Moncks Corner, SC, three siblings, Sam Humphrey and wife Delores of Lenoir City, TN, Lonny Humphrey and wife Pat of Dandridge, TN, and Wanda Bunch and Rev. John Bunch of Haines City, FL, four grandchildren, four step-grandchildren, and twelve great-grandchildren. The family will receive friends on Wednesday, July 29th, 2015 from 5:30 PM to 7:30 PM at Berry Highland Memorial Funeral Home, (Kingston Pike,) funeral service to immediately follow at 7:30 PM with Rev. John Bunch officiating. Graveside services will be held on Thursday, July 30th, 2015 at 10:00 AM at Berry Highland West Cemetery, (Sherrill Boulevard.)
