Luetta Young Ousley

Ousley, Luetta (94) of Knoxville, TN went to her Heavenly home Tuesday, August 11, 2015. She was married 39 years to SFC, Bruce Ousley and was a devoted wife, mother, and grandmother. Luetta retired from Standard Knitting Mills. She was an avid bowler and unfailingly walked daily until her health declined. Luetta was a longtime member of Mt Olive Church. She grew up on the family farm in Grainger County where some of her happiest memories were made. Luetta is preceded in death by her loving husband, Bruce Ousley; parents, Sibbie and Joe Roach; siblings, Emzy Young, Austin Roach, Ouida Lucas, Lena Stansberry. She is survived by children, Yvonne (Ken) Layden, Paula Ousley, Maxine Shockley and son by love Ken Shockley; grandchildren, Tony Ousley, Brint Grimes, Joy Farmer, Donnie (Jaime) Shockley, Kate Shockley, and grandson by love, Jeff Farmer; great grandchildren, Jessica (James) Burgin, Grant (Tiffany) Farmer, Olivia Grace Farmer, Emma Shockley, Dylan Shockley, Thomas Walkney; great- great grandchild, Avery Burgin; many nieces and nephews. Family will receive friends Friday, August 14th at Berry Funeral Home on Chapman Highway from 5-7 pm. A Celebration of Life Memorial Service will directly follow at 7pm with Rev.
