Mr. Luther F. Davis

Luther Franklin Davis, age 84, of Knoxville, went home to be with his Lord and Savior on Wednesday, July 8th, 2015. Luther was a member of Woodlawn Baptist church in Lenoir City. He was a United Stated Marine Corps Veteran. Mr. Davis fought in the Korean War and was a recipient of the Purple Heart. He was very active with the DAV and VFW. Luther was preceded in death by parents Walter and Grace Davis, and siblings Jim, Bill and Bobby Jack Davis and sister Hilda Wallen. He is survived by his wife of 44 years Becky Davis, step-son Brian Morgan, and wife Liz of Michigan, sister Mary Robertson of Mayfield, Kentucky, several nieces, nephews, cousins, in-laws, and Special Friends and Caregivers William Beal, Tommy Patton, and Jack Oliver. The family will receive friends on Friday, July 10th, 2015 from 6:00 to 8:00 PM at Berry Highland West, with funeral service to follow at 8:00 PM.
