Manuel Kent Sanderson

Loving husband, father, son, and brother, went to be with his Lord and Savior Jesus Christ on March 2, 2010. He was a devoted husband and father to his family. He was a dedicated servant to God and a faithful member to The Gathering International, Partners in Christ, as well as, First Baptist Church Concord. Preceded in death by his father William Eugene Sanderson, his sister Amelia Lennon, and nephew Toby Brown. Survived by his wife Gail Dylewski Sanderson, sons Sean, Joshua, Michael Sanderson and Bryan Herren. Mother, Mrs. Gloria Baugh Sanderson, sister Linette Brown, brother Mark Sanderson and sister-in-law Karen, and sister Kathy Andrews. He had a passion and love for coaching young athletes, and guiding their walk with the Lord. He graduated from the University of Tennessee where he was a three year lettermen in football under Coach Johnny Majors. He was a prominent business owner and developer. He will be greatly missed by family, friends, and the many children that he coached and mentored in his athletic ministries. The family will receive friends from 4-7pm Friday at Weaver Funeral Home.
