I've edited Marcia's Birdlife column for the News Sentinel since the fall of 2016. She was a good writer, and I learned so much about birds from her. I'm really going to miss her.

Memories of her help and advice to me as a wildlife rehabilitator in my work with songbirds...always cheerful and sharing little factoids about the feathered ones, she always brightened my day when we met at functions. Marcia was a gift to us all and she left us too soon. May her spirit fly free & her song never end.
