Margaret Gerava Carpenter

She is preceded in death by her beloved husband of 71 years Bill Carpenter; son Terry Carpenter; parents Samuel and Zola Harper; siblings Devona, James "Buddy" and Ruth.

Margaret is survived by son, Jerry Carpenter, daughters, Linda (Ken) Bolin, Brenda (Craig) McCutcheon; grandchildren Derick (Jennifer) Bolin and Ryan (Joy) Carpenter; step-grandson Jeramy (Elissa) McCutcheon; great-grandchildren Devin and Emma Bolin, Addyson and Blakley Carpenter and step-great-grandson Liam McCutcheon.

A Funeral will be held on Tuesday, February 27, 2024, at 1pm in the chapel of Berry Highland South Funeral Home, 9010 E. Simpson Road, Knoxville, TN 37920, with Rev. Dana Fachman officiating and a committal to follow. In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to Meridian Baptist Church in memory of Mrs. Carpenter, 6513 Chapman Hwy, Knoxville, TN 37920.
