Margaret Ann Cody

Margaret Ann Cody age 83 of Seymour went to be with the Lord Wednesday August 17, 2022. She was a long time member of South Knoxville Baptist Church and was a Registered Nurse at Baptist Hospital until her retirement after 43 years. Margaret was preceded in death by husband, Orville Cody; parents, Jesse and Oma Childs; sisters, Mary Gober and Dot Childs; brother, Tommy Childs. She is survived by son, Barry (Alisa) Cody; 4 grandchildren, Andy Cody, Elizabeth Cody, Caleb Cody and Ben Cody; brothers; Buster (Margaret) Childs and Andy (Dena) Childs; sisters, Nora (Don) Long, Marilyn Donatelli, Carolyn (Tommy) Howard and Christy (Larry) Milam; several nieces and nephews and family members and numerous friends. The family will receive friends Saturday August 20, 2022 from 5-7 p.m. at Berry Funeral Home 3704 Chapman Hwy. Service will follow at 7:00 p.m. with Rev. Dan Hix and Rev. Don Long officiating.
