Margaret Jane Cunningham (Rose) passed away on August 4, 2024, in Knoxville, TN, at the age of 97. Born on December 6, 1926, in Unaka, North Carolina, Margaret devoted her life to her role as a homemaker and mother, enriching the lives of those around her with her nurturing presence and love.
Margaret was predeceased by her parents; John Harve Rose and Lillie Graham Rose; brothers, Clifford, Hobert, Lloyd, Beecher, and Wayne Rose; sisters, Odessa Rose, Gladys Taylor, Edna Bolt, Mattie Morrow, Ellie Rose Morrow and Mary Lou Kirkland.
She is survived by her sister, Ruby Rose Morrow; children, Kathy Lane, Mark (Jennifer) and Gary Cunningham; six grandchildren; 21 great-grandchildren and one great-great grandchild all who will miss her dearly.
A visitation for Margaret will be held Monday, August 12, 2024 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at Berry Highland Memorial, 5315 Kingston Pike, Knoxville, TN 37919, followed by a funeral service at 2:00 PM officiated by Gary L. Criswell.
