Margaret Ellen Franklin

Margaret Ellen Franklin, age 92, of Knoxville, Tennessee went to be with her Lord and Savior Monday, August 18, 2025. She was a member of Burnett Creek Baptist Church and retired from St. Mary's Medical Center. Margaret enjoyed going to flea markets, yard sales, and gardening. She was preceded in death by parents, Otha and Dora Loveday; husband, Carroll Franklin; son, Robert Franklin; sister, Ruth Loveday; brothers, Bill and Jay Loveday; granddaughter, Leighann Hicks. Margaret is survived by sons, James (Rebecca) Franklin and Randy (Kristy) Franklin; 6 grandchildren, Brian, Michael, Karen, Kristen, Anthony and Randy Lee; 11 great-grandchildren; 6 great-great-grandchildren. Several nieces and nephews also survive. Special thanks to the caretakers at N.H.C. Knoxville and Caris Hospice. A special thank you to Kristy Franklin for her love and caring for mom. In lieu of flowers the family request donations to Burnett Creek Baptist Church building fund. The family will receive friends Friday, August 22, 2025 from 5-7 p.m. at Berry Highland South 9010 E. Simpson Road, Service will follow at 7:00 p.m. with Rev. Jimmy Miller and Rev. Brian Kirkland officiating. Family and friends will meet Monday August 25, 2025 at Berry Highland South Cemetery for a 1:00 p.m. Entombment. We love you mom and finally you and dad are together.
