Margaret was a devoted member of Wallace Memorial Baptist Church, where she sang in the choir and participated in The Living Christmas Tree. She was a 1957 graduate of Young High School and a 1960 graduate of Fort Sanders School of Nursing and went on to work as a nurse at UT and Fort Sanders Hospitals.
She was a longtime season ticket holder for UT football and Lady Vols basketball, and an accomplished bowler for over 50 years. Margaret generously gave her time as a volunteer with Angelic Ministries and Mobile Meals. Her hobbies included playing the piano, knitting, cross stitching, sewing, crocheting, gardening, bird watching, traveling, working puzzles, and following numerous sporting events.
She was preceded in passing by her parents, Clyde and Nora Fowler; step-mother, Ruth Fowler; husband of 58 years, Billy Ray Prince; daughter, Kimberly Anne Prince; brothers, Bernard Fowler, Curtis (Elizabeth) Fowler, Thurman Fowler, Herman Fowler, Martin (Pat) Fowler, Marvin Fowler, George Fowler; brothers-in-law, Jack Prince, Don Glandon; sister, Frances Fowler; sister-in-law, Peggy Johns; special niece, Debbie Chadwick; and several nieces and nephews.
She leaves behind to cherish her memory her loving daughter, Terri Prince LeSueur; sister, Wanda Fowler Glandon; sisters-in-Law, Jean Fowler, Ann Fowler, Sonja Fowler; grandsons, Michael LeSueur, Matthew (Reantha) LeSueur, and several nieces, nephew, cousins, and close friends.
Family and friends will gather to honor the memory of Margaret on Thursday, September 3, 2026, at Mountain View Methodist Church, 3200 Maryville Pike, Knoxville, TN 37920, with a receiving of friends from 4:00pm to 6:00pm. The funeral service will follow at 6:00pm and the graveside will be at Woodlawn Cemetery on Friday, September 4, 2026, at 12:00pm. Pastor Brock Webster will officiate the services.
