Fond memories of  living in the same neighborhood and attending school together.  Sue was a friend for life and although we were occasionally in touch through the years, it was always a pleasure to see her and talk to her.

Sue was a very dear friend who will be daily missed.

So sorry to only recently learn of Sue's illness and now her passing.  She was a generous and caring person who took care of Aunt Edna for so many years.   They became mother and daughter and were so alike in many ways.   She always had the best attitude and lived a true Christian life of service and love.  Sue was a beautiful person.

sue and i worked together at claiborne hospital for many years we shared many hours of work and also my fun times. so glad we got to talk again not long ago and catch up.  Sue was one of a kind and i am so glad to have known her and call her friend.  will miss u sue 


I worked with Sue at Claiborne County Hospital back in the 1990's. I was young  and she mothered me and took care of me and my friend Greg like we were her children( discipline and all)! We all had so much fun back then working 40 hours on the weekend together. She was like family to me and meant a lot to me. We kept in touch over the years and I will miss talking to her and hearing her words of wisdom. She gave me advice on being a good Christian dad after my wife and I had our twins Collin and Mabry. I wish I could have talked to her again before she passed but I take comfort knowing where she is!

I feel blessed to have known Sue and call her a friend.  I saw in Sue what true compassion and love are.  Sue participated in Bundled in Love ministry at Hillcrest UMC (making blankets mainly for patients at Children's Hospital).

I had the great pleasure of working with sue when I first came to tn. Sue was a compassionate person and great coworker. I cherish our talks and working together.  I got the pleasure to see sue at our work reunion.  Sue was a great sincere and compassionate co worker and shared a lot of her knowledge.  Will miss sue.   Deepest sympathy to the family. 

Sue Parker was one of the original members of the Arts, Crafts, Teaching and Sharing Ministry at West Hills Baptist Church. Sue remained active in this group, participating regularly in meetings, parties, charity maker projects, & field trips. She had a loving, giving spirit and always wanted to minister to and care for others. She enjoyed making rag quilts with the group, although she wasn't a quilter. She loved to crochet and knit, learning those skills from Granny Parker. Sue was a close friend, and she became like a beloved aunt to me and others.
