Mark Anthony Jones

Born in 1967 to the late Billie Jean and Herman Jones, Mark was a graduate of Doyle High School. He devoted his professional life to a career in security, serving faithfully as an armed guard. Mark was a man of deep faith who found solace and strength in daily Bible study, allowing his beliefs to guide him through life's journey.

Mark is survived by his beloved son, Matthew (Laura) Jones; his sister, Diana Cooper; and his brothers, Randy, Larry (Veronica Fitzgerald) Jones. He also leaves behind his nephews Luke, Adam, and Jonaaron. In addition to his parents, Mark was preceded in death by his brothers David Jones and Herman Leach, Jr., and his nephew Benjiman Jones.

Those who knew Mark will remember him as a man of remarkable resilience and unwavering determination. His strong will and steadfast character left an indelible mark on all who crossed his path. Mark's legacy of faith, perseverance, and devotion to family will continue to inspire and comfort those he leaves behind.

Though his passing brings profound sorrow, Mark's memory will forever live on in the hearts and lives of his family and friends who were blessed to know and love him.

A visitation for Mark will be held Sunday, September 21, 2025, from 3:00 PM to 5:00 PM at Berry Funeral Home, 3704 Chapman Highway, Knoxville, TN 37920. A graveside service will occur Monday, September 22, 2025, at 1:00 PM at Stock Creek Baptist Church, 8106 Martin Mill Pike, Knoxville, TN 37920.
