Mark Anthony Pinkston, age 65, of South Knoxville, passed away at home on Friday, August 23, 2024. He is now at peace, and out of pain from a lengthy battle with cancer. He was a graduate of Tennessee School for the Deaf. Mark was a loving father, brother, and uncle. He was an excellent auto technician for Edde Chevrolet of Rutledge Tennessee for 30 years. He loved hunting and fishing. One of his highlights from fishing was being with Roland Martin (professional bass fisherman) breaking his big fish record twice, and making Roland's weekly fishing report on YouTube.
He was preceded in passing by his parents Marshall and Mary Pinkston; brother, Johnny Marshall Pinkston.
He leaves behind his son, Taylor (Sabrina) Pinkston; sisters, Pamela (Duane) Daugherty, Susie Campbell, Judy Neubert, one niece, several nephews, lots of family and many close friends.
Family and friends will honor Mark with a graveside service on Tuesday, August 27, 2024 at 2:00pm at Woodlawn Cemetery, 4500 Woodlawn Pike, Knoxville, TN 37920 with Pastor Arthur Clayton to officiate the service. In lieu of flowers please consider a donation to Tennessee School for the Deaf, 2725 Island Home Blvd, Knoxville, TN 37920.
