She was preceded in death by her parents, Edward and Irene Hayes.
Martha is survived by her husband of 39 years, Samuel M. Knight; son, Aaron Presnell (Susan); and daughter, Janet Kampfer (John); sister, Marilyn Wolfenbarger; step-sons, Wayne Knight (Wynne) and Richard Knight (Tori); sister-in-law, Jane Knight; grandchildren, Zane Kampfer and Aidan Kampfer; and other extended family.
The family will receive friends on Saturday, July 15, 2023 from 10:00 to 11:00 AM in the chapel of Berry Funeral Home, 3704 Chapman Highway, Knoxville, TN 37920. A memorial service will follow at 11:00 AM officiated by Pastor Dana Fachman.
