Martha Ann Reed

Reed, Martha Ann-85, of Knoxville, passed away Thursday morning, January 23, 2025 at Parkwest Medical Center.  She was born on February 22, 1939 in Knoxville, TN.  She was a longtime faithful member of Central Church of God.  She was preceded in death by her parents, Frank James and Ruby Mae Smith, her husband, Eric Lee Reed, Sr, and her brothers and sisters: Ivalee (Mynatt), Raymond, Rachel Lorene, James David, Barbara Jean (Athley), Dorothy, Frances (Miller), and James Michael.  Survivors include her three sons: Eric, Jr. and son, Ryan, her son, Bryan and his wife, Rebekah of Cleveland, TN, and children, Aidan Reed, William Peek, Asher Reed, and Emma-Jane Reed, and her son, David and his wife, Kathi of Staunton, IL, and children.  The family will receive friends from 3:00 pm to 5:00 pm, Sunday, January 26 at Central Church of God with the celebration of life to follow at 5:00 pm with Pastor Garrett Reese, Rev. Jack Dean, and Rev. James Dunn officiating.  Internment will be conducted at 1:00 pm, Wednesday, January 29, at the Tennessee State Veterans Cemetery.
