Williams, Martha Adeline passed away at age 90 on November 8th, in Rock Hill, South Carolina. She was born on July 8, 1928, the loving daughter of Harvey and Hortense Pressley. She was preceded in death by her husband of 47 years, Eugene Williams. Martha is survived by her son; Danny and wife, Phyllis Williams of Lake Wylie, South Carolina; granddaughter, Carrie Williams of Ballantyne, North Carolina; grandson, Clinton and wife, Kristen; great grandchildren, Owen and Parker Williams of Ft. Mill, South Carolina. She is also survived by daughter, Deborah and husband, Jerome Dodson of Las Cruces New Mexico; granddaughter, Melissa Spangler; great grandchildren, Amelia and Joshua of Albuquerque, New Mexico; granddaughter, Jamie and husband, Jacob Baker; great grandchildren, Christopher, Megan and Madelyn of Las Cruces New Mexico. Martha graduated from Young High School in Knoxville Tennessee. She married Eugene Williams on June 4, 1949 in Georgia. Martha lived a full and wonderful life. She was particularly proud of being a "military" wife. Martha lived in various cities in the US and spent four years in Germany. She loved travelling and working in the accounting department at Post Exchanges in Albuquerque, New Mexico, Wertheim Germany and McDill Air Force base in Tampa Florida. A graveside service will be held at 11:30 am on Wednesday, November 14, 2018 at the East Tennessee Veterans Cemetery, 5901 Lyons View Pike. The family wishes to extend our sincere thanks to the staff at Park Pointe Village retirement community. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the Alzheimer’s Foundation.
