Whenever you came to visit us in Pa. you always fixed something around the house, and you were more than happy to do it. But that was just your kind personality. I’m so glad you and Lauren found each other. You were the perfect match, both full of humor, sarcasm, and LOVE. Thank you for taking care of my baby. We will all miss you so much, “Son”.
Love, Momma S.

Martin, this is terribly hard. You were a brother and a genuine friend to me all these years. Thanks for teaching me what donuts in the parking lot after school meant. Thanks for being a rare kind that could not only dish it out but take it too. And you really did need a good old fashioned aggravatin', and often! I was always happy to oblige. I'll especially miss all your "Hey Dork"s. Most of all I'll miss your rough edges that many people didn't understand. Thanks for all the laughter, Brother, Friend.

The first time I met you was at our holiday family gathering and I made you play a silly board game (which you were not thrilled about the idea). You played anyway. I had no idea at the time that you’d love my sister so hard. Now I wish I could tell you the same thing you used to text me, “Call Lauren. She needs it.”
I miss you, big bro, and my kids miss their Uncle Martin.

Time passes far too quickly - It seems just like yesterday we were trudging through highschool. I have so many fun memories with you my friend. Band, eating pizza together at Ingles, watching you fix your side mirror on your car using a star wars figurine.... laughter for hours. Until of course we were all "grown up" and our lives were separated by....just life. Rest easy buddy.

I am so sorry for your loss. My heart & prayers go out to his family & friends. I will always remember Jazz Band at PHS with Martin. We had a lot of laughs & made a lot of great music too.

So very sorry to hear about your passing! You were one helluva a person who i knew i could always count on! Very few people would volunteer to help install pipe in below freezing temperatures but you gladly offered without missing a beat! That kind of friendship is hard to find in today's world and i am going to sorely miss it! Going to miss the random texts with updates on your newest home improvements as well! Oh the Odell Stories!!!!! Could go on and on about what you meant to us but see that i am limited to 2000 words-which would only be a beginning!
The world has become a little less bright as of today!!! We love you and will miss you dearly!!!! Praying for Lauren and your family! Rest easy sir!

Martin, I just can’t believe you’re gone. We had so much work left to do, especially at the “Wolfe Triangle.” Now, I’m renaming it “Martin’s Triangle.” Martin, you were the ultimate slayer of invasive species, and you left the world better than you found it. Most of all, you were a hell of a friend. I’m going to miss your texts, your wit and sarcasm. Too soon, friend. I really appreciated your friendship and am going to miss the hell out of you. Prayers to your Mom and Dad, and Lauren.
