Mary K. Anderson, 90, of Knoxville, TN passed away peacefully on Thursday, September 11, 2025, with her loving family by her side. She was born March 10, 1935. She was a 1953 graduate of Knoxville Young High School. She retired from Rohm & Haas (Currently Dow Chemical) after 41 years of dedicated service and was a member of Valley Grove Baptist Church on Old Sevierville Pike. She enjoyed traveling to Pigeon Forge, California, Florida, and Norris Lake, and she loved spending time with her grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Floyd and Ita Chunn; sisters, Martha Culbert, Barbara Ruffner; brother, Floyd Chunn. She is survived by her husband of 71 years, Kenneth R. Anderson; son, Bryan (Linda) Anderson; grandchildren, Derek and Dustin Anderson.
Family and friends will gather to celebrate life and honor the memory of Mary on Tuesday, September 16, 2025, at Berry Funeral Home, 3704 Chapman Highway, Knoxville, TN 37920, with a receiving of friends from 12:00pm to 1:00pm and a funeral service to follow. Family and friends will go in procession to Woodlawn Cemetery, 4500 Woodlawn Pike, Knoxville, TN 37920 for the committal.
