Mary Lynn (Pruitt) Fain

Mary Lynn Pruitt Fain, age 84, of Knoxville, Tennessee passed away peacefully on Thursday, January 19, 2023 in her home after a long illness. Mary was a loving wife, mother, grandmother and friend. She was retired from K-Mart and attended Bearden High School. Mary was a member of Middlebrook Pike Baptist Church. Mary was preceded in death by her parents, Henry and Lucille Pruitt; brothers, Harold and Don Pruitt. Mary is survived by her husband of 62 years, Ray Fain; children, Michael Fain (Iva) and Lisa Lusk (James); grandchildren, Rosemary Skaggs (Michael) and Anthony Brown; great grandchildren, Evelyn Roberts and Henry Skaggs; cousins, Glenda Stooksbury (Johnny), Louise Kirk (David); brother-in-law, Glenn Fain (Wanda), Henry Fain (Sue); sister-in-law, Linda Emert (Steve) and several nieces and nephews. Special friend, Angie Woods. The family would like to thank Covenant Hospice for their care the last few weeks. A service will be held for Mary on Tuesday, January 24, 2023 at 1pm at Berry Highland Memorial Funeral Home.
