Mary Frances Goodson

Mary Frances Goodson, age 75, of Knoxville, Tennessee went to be with the Lord on Saturday, August 6, 2022. Mary Frances was a loving wife, mother, grandmother and sister. She felt her greatest accomplishments were her children and grandchildren. Mary Frances retired from Bennie Arp State Farm Agency after many years in the Insurance Industry. Throughout her life she was a devout Christian and had a servant's heart. Mary Frances and Don served many churches over the years and most recently attended Calvary Chapel of Knoxville. She is preceded in death by parents William Duke and Merium Frances Funderburk and brothers Billy Carrol Funderburk and Timothy Meek Funderburk. Mary Frances is survived by her husband of 58 years Don Goodson; children Mark (Sue) Goodson, Matthew (Darla) Goodson and Joy (David) Ellis; grandchildren Jessica (David) Maulick, Rachael, Savannah, Brianna, Caitlyn, Taylor Rose, and Eli; brother Jack (Marpet) Funderburk; sister-in-law Cindy Funderburk and several nieces and nephews. The family welcomes friends to a Visitation on Thursday, August 11, 2022, at Berry Highland South from 5pm-7pm with a Funeral Service at 7pm. Family and friends will meet at Berry Highland South in the Garden of Cross on Friday, August 12, 2022, at 10:45am for a Graveside Service at 11am.
