Mary Carolyn Hildebrand

Mary Carolyn Ramsay Hildebrand, born in Wichita Falls, Texas on December 21, 1943, entered into rest on Sunday, June 21, 2015 in Knoxville, Tennessee. Carolyn was a loving wife, devoted mother and a wonderful friend to those that were around her. Her life was filled with a love for the Word of God and fellowship with her Savior. She always sought to be in his perfect will. Carolyn cherished her family, friends and held her grandchildren close to her heart. She was preceded in death by her first husband, Joseph L. Ramsay; parents, William and Patricia Ruth Floyd; and most recent husband, Caleb H. Hildebrand. She is survived by her son and daughter-in-law, Joseph L Ramsay, II and Laurie of Garland, Texas; daughter and son-in-law, Cindy and Chris Viscardis, of Knoxville, Tennessee; son, Jon Hildebrand, of College Station, Texas; daughter and son-in-law, Cathy and Michael Brewton, of Ruston, Louisiana ; grandchildren, Will and Erin Ramsay, McKenzie, Chandler, Miranda and Tommy Viscardis; Sal, Joseph and Brianna Hildebrand; Madison and Breck Brewton; sister, Lynda Stroud and husband Jim of Joinerville, Texas; brother, William Floyd and wife Robbie of Gladewater, Texas and several wonderful nieces and nephews. A special thanks to the IMC staff at Ft. Sanders Regional Medical Center and those that cared so well for our mother.

A service celebrating Carolyn’s life will be held 7 PM Tuesday, June 23, at Northstar Church South Campus, 1204 E. Governor John Sevier Hwy. Knoxville, Tennessee 37920 with Rev. Cesar Correa and Bryan Creswell officiating. The worship will be led by Brad Helms. Graveside services will be held later in the week in Henderson, Texas.
