Sue Hyder, age 87, of South Knoxville, passed away peacefully January 18, 2018 at her home. Sue was a Registered Nurse working during her nursing career in Galveston, Texas, Indianapolis, Indiana, and Knoxville at East Tennessee Baptist Hospital and Hillcrest South Nursing Home. Sue was preceded in death by her husband, Charles M. Hyder; son, Kirk Hyder; parents Paul and Irene Keeble; sister, Wanda Eggers; and brother, Jack Keeble. She is survived by her son and daughter-in-law, Eric and Chrislyn Hyder; grandchildren: Emma, Claudia, Nicholas, and Adam Hyder; daughter-in-law, Rhonda Hyder; sister, Pat Randolph; several nieces and nephews including Jane Eggers whom she spoke with daily. Family and friends will meet at East Tennessee Veterans Cemetery Lyons View Pike Wednesday, February 14, 2018 at 11:30 AM for graveside services.
