Mary Jo (Neubert) Johnson

Mary Jo Johnson, age 93, of Knoxville, went to her Heavenly home on July 15, 2023. Mary Jo grew up in the Neubert Springs community of South Knoxville and attended Young High School. She was a member of Beulah Methodist Church and the Order of the Eastern Star. Mary Jo was co-owner of Johnson's Interiors and loved to quilt and drink sweet tea.

Preceded in death by parents, Herman Gamble Neubert and Lovie Lee Cruze Neubert; sisters, Freida Stone, Kathleen Houser, Betty Shields; brothers, Mack and Jack Neubert; grandson-in-law, Pete Doriot, great grandchildren, Sam and Gus Doriot.

She is survived by sons: John B. (Lockee) Johnson, Joe R. (Kathy) Johnson; grandchildren, Jenny Doriot, Mica Johnson, Allison (Zach) Scott and Missy (Brian) Voorhies; great-grandchildren, Nick Doriot, Jake (Katie) Doriot, Belle Doriot, Phoenix Johnson, Ocean Cannon, Zeke Scott, Eli Scott, Riley Voorhies and Gracie Voorhies; brother, Wayne (Donna) Neubert and several half siblings.
