Mary Lee Biddle Reed

Mary Lee Reed, age 76, of Seymour, passed away on Sunday, September 25, 2016 at Ft. Sanders Regional Medical Center. Mary Lee was the Cafeteria Manager at Harrison Chilhowee Baptist Academy/The King’s Academy for 32 years. She was a Past Worthy Matron of the Chilhowee Chapter 450 of the Order of the Eastern Star. She was an active member and Secretary/Treasurer of the Liberty Sunday School at Seymour First Baptist Church.

Preceded in death by infant son, Michael Gene Reed. Mary Lee is survived by husband, M. Gene Reed; daughters Rachel Reed and Lesa Fain; son-in-law Ray (Buddy) Fain; granddaughter Emily Lynch and her husband Eric; and grandson Aaron Fain.

The family will receive friends from 5-7 p.m., Wednesday, September 28, 2016 at Berry Highland South Funeral Home, with the service to immediately follow at 7:00 p.m., with Rev. Floyd Powell and Rev. Merwyn Borders officiating. Entombment service will be 2:00 p.m. Thursday, September 29, 2016 at Berry Highland South Cemetery.
