Mary Elsie Valdes, 90, of Sevierville, passed away Saturday, July 22, 2017. Elsie was a loving wife, mother, grandmother and great-grandmother. She was preceded by her husband of 59 years, Bill Valdes. She is survived by two daughters and son-in-law, Deborah Bean, Ann and Larry Ward; three sons, Lawrence, Mark and William Valdes. Eight grandchildren, Dawna, Jeff, Melissa, Dennis, Leslie, Andrea, Molly and Daniel; 13 great-grandchildren; four great-great-grandchildren; special friends, JoAnn Wilson and Gloria Christiansen. A special thanks to staff at Mountain Brook Assisted Living for their love and care. A Memorial Mass will be held at Holy Cross Catholic Church in Pigeon Forge at a later date.
