Maynard Fox, age 76, of Knoxville, TN passed away peacefully on Tuesday, August 13, 2024 with his family by his side. He was a wonderful husband, devoted father and a self-made man. Maynard loved all of his family and valued spending time with them.
He is preceded in death by his parents, James and Lora Fox; sister, Mary Lou and brothers: Bill, Bob and Jerry.
Maynard is survived by his loving wife of 42 years, Nora Fox; sons: Eddy (Arlene) Conner, Christopher (Melody) Conner; grandsons: Mason and Justin Conner; granddaughters: Carrieanna and Christa Conner; several great-grandchildren; brother, Gene (Debbie) Fox; close friends, Steve Woods and Frankie Seay and a host of extended family and friends.
The family will receive friends Monday, August 19, 2024 from 5:00 PM until 7:00 PM in the chapel of Berry Funeral Home, 3704 Chapman Hwy, Knoxville with a service to follow at 7:00 PM officiated by Rev. Rick Carnes. Family and friends will gather Tuesday, August 20, 2024 at Mt. Olive Cemetery, 2500 Maryville Pike, Knoxville for a 2:00 PM Interment Service.
