

Merelyn Seay Moses, aged 80, passed away peacefully at her home on September 21, 2024 surrounded by her family. She was born on January 28, 1944 in Cedar Creek, TN to Jonah and Mable Seay. She lived a full and vibrant life.
She was a graduate of Carter High School in Knoxville, TN (1962) and went on to build a loving family and home with her husband, Kenneth Moses, whom she married on October 5, 1963.
She was preceded in death by her father, Jonah Seay, mother, Mable Seay and her infant daughter, Cynthia Lynn Moses.
She is survived by her loving, dedicated husband of 60 years, Kenneth Moses, her daughters, Susan Moses of Knoxville, TN, Lisa Adams and husband Chad of Kingsport, TN. Her legacy continues through her grandchildren whom she loved dearly, Brady Farley and wife Karoline of Phenix City, Alabama, and Austin Farley and wife Samantha of Clarksville, TN.
Funeral Services will be held at Berry Highland West Funeral Home in Knoxville TN on Saturday, September 28, 2024 at 12:00pm with Scott Turner officiating. Receiving of friends will be from 11:00am -12:00pm. There will be a procession to Eastview Memorial Gardens for a a graveside service and burial at 2:00pm.

Merelyn`s memory will be cherished by all who knew her, and her love and legacy will continue to inspire those she leaves behind.
