Caldwell, Mildred Ruth, age 89 of South Knoxville, passed away Tuesday, October 22, 2013. She was a member of the former Island Home Assembly of God Church and she was retired from Allied Chemical Company. Mildred was preceded in death by husband, Ralph Caldwell; brother, Larry Porterfield; sisters, Lorena Richards and Clara Davis.
She is survived by daughter, Joy Moore; son and daughter-in-law, Mark and Lisa Caldwell; son, Rodney Caldwell; grandchildren, Chuck Moore and Craig Moore; great-grandchild, Riley Moore; sister, Bobbie Sams; brother, Charles Porterfield; several nieces and nephews.
The family will receive friends from 5-7 PM on Friday, October 25, 2013 in the Chapel of Berry Funeral Home. The funeral service will follow with Rev. Mike Vandergriff officiating.
