Moses E. Sherman, age 32, of Knoxville, passed away Wednesday, March 15, 2017 and is now resting in the arms of the Angels. Mo was a devoted father to his daughter, Mia. He served our country in the United States Army. Preceded in death by his father, Robert G. Sherman; sisters, Deborah Marie and Cindy. Survived by mother, Darlene; daughter, Mia; siblings, Elizabeth, Joshua, Anna, Abraham, Abby, Joseph, Asa, Cathie, Connie, and Robert; girlfriend, Mia Yi Craig; special friend and fellow soldier, John Marcum. The family will receive friends Sunday, March 19th from 5:00 to 7:00 pm at McCarty-Evergreen Funeral Home with the funeral service to follow at 7:00 pm, Rev. Mike Shreve officiating. Family and friends will meet Monday, March 20th at 9:00 am at McCarty-Evergreen to travel in procession to the East Tennessee Veterans Cemetery, 2200 John Sevier Highway, for the 9:30 am interment.
